No matter when I come, Koboshu is full of bright energy. People who stroll around, people who show off what they have drawn or made, people who are concerned about selling their paintings, people who take a nap, and of course people who create things. at my own pace. But basically there are many members who silently draw pictures.
Even though it is bright and fun, there is also a little tension. They are free, but creating is the basis of their freedom. And the work that is born is also very free and full of power to live.
There are several artists who continue to paint by overlapping dots and lines, and have been exhibited and sold at art fairs in New York. A studio collection that started with the concept of making painting a job. Working is a human right, and I think again after 20 years of working with Koboshu, a place that does not contradict being a free existence. (HN)
As soon as I showed up at the entrance full of art mood, everyone and I burst out with smiles, saying "Chizuru Azuma!" I think that atmosphere is reflected in your work. Overall, the work has a bright and bouncy rhythm.
Also, it is stable enough to know which artist's work at a glance. As expected, he is a collection of works that are highly evaluated both at home and abroad. I agree that it is a facility that drives Saitama's art activities. Since I've been with them for a long time, I wondered if they would be comfortable here, but when I first came here, everyone said the same. I wonder if it's because I'm surrounded by everyone's nobi nobi air. (CA)
What is the unique quality of this workshop collection? I think every time I visit. Writer's power? The power of the staff? I'm sure it's due to the constant efforts of the staff, but no matter how much I talk to the artist or the staff, I still don't get it. . whatever. One of the best workshops in Japan. (TY)
