Our Story

Art InterMix (AIM) aims to “realize a cohesive society where everyone can create a rich life by making the most of their individuality through a variety of creative activities.” A project team set up to support The core business is to support people with disabilities who are engaged in artistic activities, to discover, research, and publish works, and to promote networking.

Art by people with disabilities is not to be separated from other arts, but is connected with gradation. I would like to create an opportunity and a place where people can talk freely and think about the author.

Art should open up. Art has the power to open up unexpected possibilities. I am sure that this activity will lead to the creation of our future art, not just the category of handicapped art.

Through art, which is primarily a sensory medium, understanding of disabilities and people with disabilities is enhanced, and communication is possible in a true sense of equality rather than supporting people with disabilities out of concept or justice. The excitement of art will dissolve the wall between "art" and "art for the disabled," and the wall between "non-handicapped people" and "disabled people" at the same time.

After establishing a general incorporated association, Art InterMix (AIM) will apply for subsidies for research on art by people with disabilities, work excavation projects, and information dissemination.
